Why does Women.Fund use Smashfund?

Smashfund is the platform that we use, because it is the 1st Social Networking and Crowdfunding Platform that is now available for us to make money without having to invest millions of dollars into its creation.

Why Join and create a Women.Fund Smashfund Network?

Smashfund's $149 monthly service fee  is used to create a global crowdfunding and social network platform for each of our members. Your goal is to build a global team of women filmmakers & supporters. When you have three filmmakers in your Network, you are making money to fund your movies, as you earn $50 per Filmmaker in your own global WOMEN.FUND FILM NETWORK + Your own crowdfunding page!

Can I invite others into my network besides women filmmakers?

Yes. Everyone in your network can be your supporter, no matter what their specific crowdfunding goal is.. and you are building an audience of supporters that will help each other and create synergy via a new economy that keeps the money in the family by supporting each other.

Is there any other way that I can make money by being a member of the Women.Fund Smashfund Global Network in addition to earning $50 per month per my own network members and via my crowdfunding efforts?

Yes.  Besides attending IMPROVDINNERS.COM EVENTS at a discounted rate and/or having the opportunity to present your own Women.Fund network of talents and projects, Women.Fund members have the opportunity to partner with and co-host our pre-curated film screening events that earn them money and help them to introduce the concept of their own WOMEN.FUND NETWORK membership benefits to their invitees.

WorldPeaceProductions.org (WPP) is a volunteer based project that focuses on the use of film for education and community awareness.  WPP collaborates with local nonprofits and service providers to co-create Film screening events with experts, panelists, filmmakers and group discussion questions targeted on the social issues of the films.

Working in collaboration with local community nonprofits and for-profits, WPP is currently working in Sedona and surrounding areas with curated film collaborations, such as for the Mental Health Coalition of Verde Valley (MHCVV), http://www.mhcvv.org, during May Mental Health Month and in ongoing Mental Health Monday film screening events at the Mary D. Fisher Theater.

WPP intends to continue to co-create such targeted community service events focused on involvement and actions that promote and encourage community interaction, education and support through film in the areas of nonviolence, mental health, wellness, youth, environment, poverty, hunger, Interfaith, cultural diversity and Women.

WPP believes that film and media are the best way to get the word out, and make a difference in any cause.  Therefore, it dedicates its resources to assisting viable nonprofits, filmmakers, community activists, and for profits dedicated to making a difference in their community and in the world.

“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”

– Andrei Tarkovsky
