Gandhi King Gyatso Season for Nonviolence (1998-2015)
As a human family we are asking the question: “How can any act of violence be recognized as a solution to the consequences of violence that we face today?” Violent actions and reactions are the scars of social, educational, and economic wounds... the voices of a spiritually inarticulate culture.
The practice of nonviolence is initiated by choice and cultivated through agreement. The time has come to agree upon this as a global community as if our lives, and those of our children’s children, depended on it. Our vision is of a better world for all human beings.
To this end, we undertake the “Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence” by applying our efforts and resources to identifying, then bringing focus to the spectrum of grassroots projects and programs by individuals and organizations who are pro-actualizing a peaceful social order.
SEASON FOR NONVIOLENCE (SNV)
The Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence (SNV) commences for the 18th consecutive year on January 30, 2015 in cities across the globe. The annual 64 day campaign, co-founded in 1998 by Dr. Arun Gandhi and The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT), is an educational, media and grassroots awareness campaign spanning the January 30th - April 4th memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi & Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
ASSOCIATION FOR GLOBAL NEW THOUGHT
The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) is a 501c3 organization born out of a deep conviction and pure passion to give our movement a clear voice and commanding presence on the global stage. It serves alongside the existing major New Thought entities to seek out, and provide new opportunities within and outside our churches and spiritual centers for direct engagement with other faiths, cultures, and issues.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the campaign is to focus educational and media attention on the philosophy of attaining peace through nonviolent action as demonstrated by legendary leaders Mohandas K. Gandhi, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., Cesar E. Chavez, and President Nelson Mandela, as well as living legends such as His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. Leaders in 900 cities in 67 countries have participated since the campaign began in 1998.

The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) is a 501c3 organization born out of a deep conviction and pure passion to give our movement a clear voice and commanding presence on the global stage. It serves alongside the existing major New Thought entities to seek out, and provide new opportunities within and outside our churches and spiritual centers for direct engagement with other faiths, cultures, and issues worldwide. FOL Partners are churches and communities of all denominations, youth & women groups, yoga studios, spiritual & peace activists, and all those interested in gathering together to watch impactful media discussions.

If you are a spiritual activist, filmmaker, yoga studio, event coordinator, artist, teacher, trainer, facilitator, or peace & nonviolence enthusiast, we invite you to work with us to gather Women's Circles and other such collectives that focus on outgoing Interfaith media events & screenings.

If your venue is available for screenings and events, and you would like to have your church, yoga studio, etc., as an approved venue for future film screening and Women's Circles events, we invite you to join the BETA.
WOMENINTERNATIONAL.NET (WIN) - RADIO
WE believe that Women Empowerment will help to shift the world from its current state of fear and greed based systems, into a focus on peace, love and abundance for all. Through the use of HIGHEST VISION, WE intend to create a global community of FOL Members co-creating a NEW SYSTEM, a SYSTEM OF PEACE.
FOL FOUNDER
Joya Comeaux, formerly Chief Financial Officer and VP Administration of a New York Stock Exchange Company and author of AVE MARIA, Angels Voices Sing a Journey to Remembrance, left her financial career to follow an inner longing that catapulted her into an intense global journey of self-awakening. Working and apprenticing with masters around the world, such as her brother-in-law in Mexico and the United States, Don Miguel Ruiz , Toltec Shaman and author of THE FOUR AGREEMENTS; and India with Swami Kaleshwar and author of the DIVINE MYSTERY FORT, to name a few. She has led spiritual journeys to energy vortexes around the world, such as, Egypt, India, Mexico, Peru, Europe, and Sedona.
