WomenFilmFestival.com (WFF) is more of a global movement than it is a traditional film festival held in one location.  Designed to give female filmmakers an alternative distribution model, WFF helps to unite a Women's Filmmakers Collective to work together, create a global community of film watchers, and build relationsships for funding.  Films can be in any genre, as long as the main filmmakers are women.  This movement came about to support the ever decreasing numbers of feature women filmmakers, and to encourage independent filmmakers.
